• Custom SIM names (aliases): Give your SIM cards their own names (instead of just "SIM 1"), so you know immediately which line you're being called on.
• Color coding: Each SIM card gets its own color in the call log and on the dial pad to prevent confusion between private and business calls.

The heart of the app is the flexible blocking system, which goes far beyond simple blacklists:

• Pattern-based blocking: Block not just individual numbers, but entire number ranges. With patterns like +436, you can specifically block certain area codes, providers or entire countries.
• Reject anonymous callers: Protect yourself from suppressed numbers and automated advertising calls.
• Intelligent contact rules: The choice is yours. Enable protection for contacts to ensure friends and family always get through (whitelist), or disable it if your block patterns should apply to all numbers.
• Dual warning system: The app warns you about suspicious callers – both when automatic blocking is disabled and for unknown numbers that have not (yet) been captured by a pattern.
• Ping-call detection: If the same number calls repeatedly and briefly without a conversation ever taking place, the app automatically recognizes this typical ping-call pattern from your call history – no fixed blocklist required.
• Safety for emergency calls: Emergency calls (e.g. 112, 911) always have priority. They are never filtered and are always treated with the highest priority by the system.

In order for Lechs Dialer & Shield to receive calls, display the in-call screen and filter unwanted numbers before the first ring, the app must be set up as the default phone app.

Access to your contacts and call log is used exclusively locally on your smartphone to assign calls and apply the blocking rules you have defined.
